Cookies and technologies used by lifesciencehub.info

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that websites save on the device to remember information from one page to another. Similar technologies (local storage, pixels, identifiers) are subject to the same rules. This page lists those actually present on lifesciencehub.info.

Information pursuant to Article 122 of the Privacy Code and the guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority on cookies of 10 June 2021.

The Site does not use its own profiling cookies, advertising cookies or social network pixels. The «Sponsored» box is a Site content element and does not track browsing.

Consent management

The Site directly uses only one technical cookie and a cookie-free statistical measurement, for which the law does not require prior consent: for this reason, a banner is not shown on all pages. The only profiling cookies are those from YouTube, and they are set only if you choose to start a video: the player does not load before that, and next to the play button you will find a notice stating that by starting it you accept YouTube cookies, including advertising cookies. If you do not want to receive them, do not start the video: the rest of the article remains fully accessible.

How to control cookies from the browser

You can block or delete cookies from the browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings › Privacy and security › Cookies
  • Firefox: Settings › Privacy and security
  • Safari: Preferences › Privacy
  • Edge: Settings › Cookies and site permissions

Blocking Cloudflare's technical cookie may make the Site inaccessible or require additional verification.
